| Welcome to Fernhill Farm
Andy and Jen invite you to join us at Fernhill Farm high on the Mendip Hills to enjoy the Fernhill Farm experience. A unique venue for a green holidays, weekend breaks and ideal for group and families offering alternative & flexible accommodation for all.
Fernhill dates from the 17th Century when its natural pond became important to livestock and farmers and a settlement was built around the water source. These barns and our farmhouse are now Listed Grade II and have been re-established to beyond their former glory using original and home-sourced materials where possible, environmentally conscious heating methods and our own wool insulation, creating a discrete place to stay. Today the working farm is 160 acres of species rich natural grasslands, traditionally breeding & rearing cattle, sheep and pigs, with walks through the fields & woodlands, harvesting from the orchard & gardens with ponds to explore.
